Fulfilled a childhood dream

There is an enduring appeal about tree houses, even when childhood is well behind you. From the smallest platform, roughly nailed to a branch, to grand treetop walkways in the canopy.

So you can imagine our excitement at the prospect of living in a treehouse for a few nights. Safe to say, the experience was everything we wished for and more.

The Rabeang Pasak Treehouse resort has 10 individual huts, each totally unique in both name and character. From the towering Tamarind to the multi level Star, any of them would have been a great experience. Our lodge of choice was Jackfruit, named after the yellow spikey fruit the grows on its branches.

We would like to thank Mink, Lucky and their menagerie of animals for such a wonderful time. Tasty food, free clay modelling classes, relaxing by a babbling brook, lots of friendly balls of fluff and an overwhelmingly relaxed atmosphere. It was difficult to say goodbye.
