Walked up a waterfall

Up you say? Did I read that correctly?

An hour or so North of Chiang Mai is a waterfall unlike any other you may know. Bua Tong is a sticky waterfall.

Mineral deposits washed down from the hills above transform the rocks from slippy to grippy. It’s a strange thing feeling soles of your feet grip the wet rocks, crystal clear water splashing all around. Good luck sliding back down though…thats shorts ripping territory right there.

Three tiers of this scientific novelty provide us with a wonderful playground for a few hours. Perhaps our first, and last, chance to walk up a waterfall. Well done Thailand, we never saw that coming.
